How???
- Freezing water can burst pipes! Shut off the service valve to your cabin when leaving(especially from October-May when freezing is possible.) Open a hose or other valve where water can drain and expand in case of a freeze. If you have fire sprinklers, drain the system when leaving to prevent pipes in the ceiling from bursting from a freeze.
- Don’t forget to turn off the hose or other drain valve when you return, before turning your service valve back on.
Any person responsible for abnormal loss of water due to carelessness or negligence will be billed $100 for the administrative cost of pumping a tank of water.
Please post this notice in a conspicuous place in your cabin and make sure that your visitors know how to properly turn on and off the water at your cabin.
